Ari makes posters for the Socialist Party of New York City, promoting the organization's free screenings, community forums, and panels featuring visiting politicians and activists from around the world. Many feature her original illustration work, while others make use of archival images or photography taken by other activists.
The posters are distributed throughout NYC; digital versions appear on SPNYC's website and are used for online outreach, appearing in online calendars and other publications.
The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center's Women's Event is one of the largest gala events for women in the country. Ari designed the collateral for both WE9 and WE10. Each year's materials include a bound event journal, a save the date postcard, an invitation, and advertising in national publications.
In 2007, Arts Engine celebrated ten years of filmmaking. Shira designed a booklet that highlights the organization's accomplishments over the past decade. She also created the invitation for the benefit party. Her design concept was animated by Woo Art and featured on Arts Engine's website.
